In the IPL, the champion team receives $2.4 million, and the runner-up gets around $1.6 million. In comparison, Lahore Qalandars received only $425,000 for winning the title, and Multan, who lost the final, received only $170,000. Therefore, the team that wins the IPL gets about six times more money. Even when looking at the most expensive players, there is no competition. England's Sam Curran is the most expensive player in the IPL for season XVI, bought by Punjab Kings for 18.5 crore Indian rupees, about $2.2 million. This amount of money is used to form two teams in PSL. Therefore, financially, there is no comparison between these two leagues. 03. Quality of Cricket:
- The IPL attracts a large pool of international talent, making it highly competitive and considered one of the best T20 leagues in the world.
- The PSL has seen the emergence of talented players and contributed to cricket's development in Pakistan. However, it may not have the same level of international star power as the IPL.
